Support The Wall That heals
Please join us in welcoming The Wall That Heals to our community from March 19 - 22nd, 2026 by volunteering to honor all who have served.
Volunteer training will take place Wednesday, March 18 at 6pm. Attendance is mandatory.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time. All volunteers must be prepared for weather conditions.
Volunteer Descriptions
Assist visitors at The Wall: Greet and assist visitors with finding names, viewing photos, name rubbings. Listen and provide support when needed.
Mobile Education Center Volunteer: Talk about artifacts, In Memory Honorees and Hometown Heroes.
Visitor Tent - Seated Position: in finding names on website or name directory. Monitor trifold inventory. Answer visitor questions to best of ability.
Direct Visitors (Floater): Greet and assist visitors with information. Direct to The Wall, Trailer, Visitor Tent. Assist if they need help with mobility. Fill in other positions as needed.
Parking and Visitor Assistance: Direct parking. Visitor assistance with transportation to and from The Wall That Heals (Golf Cart / Wheelchair / etc).
Set Up and Break Down of The Wall That Heals: Volunteers physically set up and break down The Wall That Heals. *Must be physically able to lift and move wall sheets.
